Banana Roll Ups

It's almost time to head back to school and we've partnered with Eating Bird Food to bring you a super filling and easy lunch recipe!

Serves: 1

Prep time: 10 minutes

These banana and nut butter roll-ups make for a fun and filling lunch. Pair the roll-ups with cheese cubes, fresh veggies and fruit for a healthy and colorful plate. You can chop the roll-up into bite-size pieces and top with hemp seeds for a little extra protein or simply skip the hemp seeds if you don’t have any on hand.

1 whole grain tortilla or wrap (larger ones are best)

1-2 Tablespoons nut or seed butter

1 banana, peeled

hemp seeds, optional

side items: cheese cubes, chopped veggies and sliced fruit

Spread a thin layer of the nut or seed butter over the whole grain tortilla/wrap. Place banana at the bottom third of the tortilla and start rolling it up. Once completely rolled, slice the roll-up into bite-size pieces. Sprinkle hemp seeds on top, if using. Pair with cheese cubes, chopped veggies and sliced fruit for a full meal.
