Why We're “Humbled” to Give Back With Humble Design

Since 2017, the number of unhoused individuals has been on the rise, making the dream of a safe and furnished home seem unattainable for many. Humble Design steps in here, turning this dream into a reality for countless people. Here’s how they do it.

Humble Design is a non-profit organization making remarkable strides in addressing the epidemic of homelessness. Their mission is simple yet profound: to furnish homes for individuals and families emerging from homelessness. What sets Humble Design apart is their approach. They believe that creating a dignified, welcoming home environment is a crucial step in helping individuals rebuild their lives after the traumatic experience of homelessness.

Founded on the principles of empathy and sustainability, Humble Design collaborates with local communities to source newly donated or gently used furniture and household goods. Humble Design works closely with each individual or family to understand their needs, preferences and dreams for their new home. This personalized touch goes a long way in not just furnishing a house but creating a home that resonates with the new occupants' personalities and stories.
