Responsible Wool Standard

RWS is an international voluntary standard that aims to improve animal welfare in sheep farms and chain of custody of wool – from certified farms to the final product.

RWS evaluates farmers and ranchers against animal welfare, land management and social requirements set by its standard. We are RWS certified by Control Union Certifications. As a requirement of the standard, all sites within the business-to-business transaction are certified.

Control Union Certifications has audited and found Naturepedic to be in conformity with the Responsible Wool Standard for wool that meets RWS criteria. All the wool purchased by Naturepedic is from RWS certified farms.
